WHO:  WNMU-Silver City International Film Society

WHAT:  Annual Fundraiser Oscars Party

WHERE:  Isaac's, on the corner of Bullard & Broadway in Silver City

WHY:  to celebrate the Oscars and to raise money so the Society can keep on showing films that would not otherwise be shown in Silver City

WHEN:  Sunday, 24 February 2008, starting at 5 pm and going until the Academy Awards are over.  

EVENTS:  silent auction of art and other items, as well as services; awards for the Best Costumes in the categories of Best Couple Movie-Related Costume, the Most Over the Top Costume, the Best Costume in a Drama, the Best Costume in a Comedy; Look-Alike Contest Angelina Jolie & Johnny Depp; movie posters for sale; the Academy Awards will be shown on four TVs throughout Isaac's

CHARGE:  different from last year--cover charge of $8 ($7 if you get your tickets early; Isaac's will have food and drink for purchase; early ticket purchase at Yankie Creek Coffee and at Curious Kumquat, and at Isaac's on the day of the event).
