MAYOR JAMES MARSHALL TO THROW FIRST PITCH AT WNMU SOFTBALL GAME
SILVER CITY – For a politician, Silver City Mayor James Marshall is supposed to stay away from underhanded tactics. On Wednesday; however, he will be throwing the first pitch at the Western New Mexico University (WNMU) Softball home game. Playing against Grant Canyon University, the game is set to begin at 12:00pm at the WNMU Softball field.
The WNMU Mustang Softball team has won 17 and lost 22 games. They stand 13-15 in conference. Grand Canyon University has managed 13 wins with 15 losses with a record of 10-6 in conference.
WNMU Mustangs will host the final two home games on April 26 and 27 when they battle Colorado State University - Pueblo.
