WNMU PRACTICE TEACHERS GRADUATE

SILVER CITY, N.M. – Students from the Western New Mexico University School of Education participated in the Affirmation Ceremony held on May 15. These practice teachers were placed in various schools around Grant County. The ceremony was a day before commencement ceremonies were they also received degrees in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Elementary Education/Bilingual Education, Secondary Education/Business, Secondary Education/Spanish, Secondary Education/Art, Secondary Education/Science, Physical Education, Secondary Education/Math, and Secondary Education/Language Arts.

Located in Silver City, New Mexico, Western New Mexico University has served the people of the state of New Mexico and its surrounding areas as a comprehensive, regional, rural, public coeducational university since 1893 and caters to a student body diverse in age, culture, language and ethnic background.
