            SILVER CITY—A few slots are still available for the Private Pilot Ground School class being offered this semester at Western New Mexico University.  The class begins meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

            Through the “Private Pilot Ground School” students will get the training and education to complete the Federal Aviation Administration written examination and receive FAA approved course material presented by FAA certified ground school instructors.  The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and is three-credit hours. 

            The course number is APLT 180 20724.  The class will meet in the WNMU Juan Chacon Building Room 132 beginning Jan. 15 through May 15.
