IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 8/20/01 SILVER CITY—The Western New Mexico University Staff Senate has named Maria Dominguez-Rolfe, director of Multicultural Affairs and Student Activities, the August WNMU Employee of the Month. She has earned bachelor’s degrees at WNMU in social work and Spanish. She is currently enrolled in the graduate program working toward a master’s degree in counseling. She has been employed at WNMU for 19 years. Prior to being named the director of Multicultural Affairs and Student Activities, she was the Executive Assistant to the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Rolfe is the mother of three children: Yvonne Marie Rodriguez, 16; Rodrick Rolfe, 11; and Timothy Allen Rolfe, 5. Her husband. Greg, is the systems and programming manager at WNMU’s Information Technology Center. |
