SILVER CITY--St. Patrick's Day will be recognized at Western New Mexico
University with free Irish coffee and green shamrock cookies being served from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on March 17.

A contest will be held for the best creative, green colored hat. Prizes up to $50 will be awarded. Irish music will be provided. The public is encouraged to participate.
