IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 9-12-01 SILVER CITY—The Western New Mexico University Miller Library is hosting a Writing Center to provide assistance to students. Tutors are available in Miller Library to help them with all aspects of the writing process, including sentence structure, grammar, and citing bibliographic references. The Writing Center is located in Conference Room B of Miller Library and is open from noon – 8 p.m. Sundays, 8-1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m. Mondays, 1-6 p.m. Tuesdays, noon-8 p.m. Wednesdays, and 8-5 p.m Thursdays. WNMU Graduate students Cris Cerasuolo and Camille Freeman will provide individual tutoring to students who need help with writing assignments. The Writing Center was developed by University Librarian Julie Miller and English professor Dr. Mary Baumhover. |
