ASC Computer Lab


Our lab is equipped with PCs and a high-speed laser printer for students and community members to use during our open hours.  These computers are available for both academic and recreational use, although the academic use takes priority.

The ASC staff provides limited technical support for these computers. We are supported by the Academic Computing Department through the Help Desk. When you are working on the computers in the ASC, we are happy to provide assistance as we are able. Further assistance may be obtained through the Help Desk.

Individual assistance with basic computer literacy is available for WNMU students. Please schedule an appointment with one of our tutors.

One of the special pieces of software that the ASC offers is the DISCOVER program. DISCOVER is a career exploration program that is FREE for students. If you are interested in learning about career options, exploring what majors might best prepare you for certain careers, or want to confirm your current career plans, then DISCOVER is right for you. Come by during regular office hours to try it.
