  • ASWNMU Executive Council Reports
    • President Abraham Martinez
      • Attended meeting with Dr. Farren, Attended meeting with Maria regarding Homecoming, Planning club council meeting for this Friday, Attended meeting with committee regarding improving campus for Freshmen.
    • Vice President Louis Ortega
      • Been working on Homecoming, Doing office hours.
    • Secretary Luis Martinez
      • Homecoming is next week and everything is in place, Needs senators to show up for the date the were assigned to, Would like people to where togas next week, Bowling Night will be from 8:00 to 11:00, Maria needs drivers for parade, Would like to meet after meeting.
    • Treasurer Ben Domke
      • (Explains budget in detail)
    • Attorney General Arturo Monje
      • Constitution is done for Big Six just needs to be reviewed, Would like to challenge everyone to where togas.
    • Governmental Affairs Director Chris Schofield
      • Took care of business cards, Attended meeting with the Giant Puppets and Bike Club and club is open to everyone.

    • Senate Bill 30 re-recognition of the Science Club. Appropriation of $100.00 of start up money. (Molina & Pool)

    • Senate Bill 37 re-recognition of Jazz Society. Appropriation of $100.00 of start up money.(Spradlin & Bass)
      • Motioned by Spradlin, seconded by Bass
      • Discussion- Going to help in parade and in Annual Jazz Festival
      • Motion passes 13-0-0
    • Senate Bill 38 re- recognition of Soul Priority Club. Appropriation of $100.00 of start up money. (Spradlin & Bass)

      • Discussion-Going to be helping out with Homecoming. Going to have a speaker about genetics for students. Have Bible study every Friday night.

    • Senate Bill 39 Matching funds for TKB Club. Appropriation of funds for $325.00 (Cordova & Edwards)

      • Discussion- Raised money during Golf Day

    • Senate Bill 40 Matching funds for Gamma Alpha. Appropriation of funds for $175.00. (Smith & Bass)

      • Discussion- Money was raised at Big Brothers Big Sisters Event.

      • Dr. Farren- Concerned about designated drivers for Homecoming week.
      • Jeremy Kinter-Homecoming events will be in the newspaper.

      • President Martinez- Would like to discuss a fee for Corre Caminos.
      • Chris Schofield- Would like to see how many people would be interested in biking with club.
