3rd Annual Mustang Stampede Held; Proceeds Benefit WNMU Cross Country Program

SILVER CITY, NM — The Western New Mexico cross country teams held its 3rd annual Mustang Stampede on Sunday, April 1, 2007 on the WNMU campus.

The two-mile walk race began at 8:00 a.m. The five-kilometer run followed at 8:15 a.m. Both races began and ended at the WNMU PE Complex (1000 West College Avenue, Silver City).

A total of 45 runners/walkers participated. All proceeds went to the WNMU cross country team.
