The Mustangs Online
Website has the following layout structure:
The Home Page
will be the initial page viewed. It contains the first sentence or
two of the latest press releases, each with a link to the full
story. Also, for sports currently underway, quick links are
provided taking viewers directly to items of interest, e.g.,
results, rosters, stats, etc.
The Athletic
Department is the area related to the athletic
department operations. Sub-tier pages include:
- Overview - includes mailing address, phone
and FAX numbers and a brief overview.
- Staff - lists department personnel with
contact information.
- Directions - provides text and graphical
information on how to get to the WNMU campus.
The Sponsored Sports
is a page that provides links to areas for each sponsored-sport.
Within each sport area are pages or links to other pages (or Web
sites) that contain the following information:
- Quick facts
- Rosters
- Schedule/Results
- Statistics
- Coaches bios
The Compliance
area provides information for prospective student-athletes
(recruits) and representatives of athletic interests (boosters).
What can be done and what cannot be done in recruiting of
student-athletes are two items that should be of interest.
The Archived Press
Releases and Media Outlet area includes the following
items:
- Press releases issued by the Sports
Information Office.
- Links to Web sites of newspapers that cover
the athletic events.
- Media guides in PDF format
- Links to content of the pre-2004 athletic
Website.
The Recruit
Information area provides items that should be of
interest to those who may desire to become student-athletes at the
University. It includes an online questionnaire that provides the
athletic staff information on prospective student-athletes.
The Facilities,
Athletic Trainingarea highlights the campus facilities
used during intercollegiate athletic competition. In addition, the
weight room and athletic training areas are also covered.
The Student-Athlete
Advisory Committee area provides information regarding
activites of the WNMU organization.
The Cheerleading
area provides information regarding those individuals and groups
who help to generate fan spirit at athletic contests.
The Athletic Apparel
area provides information about sportswear that is
available for purchase.
Sports Camps
that are conducted by the coaching staff of WNMU are noted on this
page with relevant information.
The Related WWW
Sites page provides links to Web sites of organizations
that have some relevance to intercollegiate sports activities.
These can be oversight organizations, various coaches'
associations, etc.
