ASWNMU SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
December 8, 2000

I. Call To Order
Meeting Called to Order by President Murguia at 6:35

II. Roll Call
Senator Amavizca, Floor Leader Gomez, Kenny, Pro-Tempore Preston, Romano, Rutherford, Talimatasi and Urquijo.

III. Old Business
A. Varsity Club Allocation Mike Ramono was the representative from the Varsity Club to request that the allocation of $400.00 be granted. All paperwork is complete and accurate. This allocation is to help pay for the cost of warm ups. Senator Kenny moved to grant the allocation of $400.00 to the Varsity Club. Senator Romano seconded the motion. Motion carried 8-0.
B. Finals all-nighter President Murguia would like to have a study night set up in the cafeteria supplied with beverages and snacks for the students studying for finals. President Murguia is requesting an open P.O. for $400.00 to Marriott to pay for the expenses. Senator Urquijo moved to accept the open P.O. to Marriott. Senate Pro-Tempor Preston seconded the motion. Motion carried 8-0.

IV. Announcements
Concert is at 9:30 in the Graham Gym. Women's Basketball game at 7:00. Senator Urquijo meets January 11, 2001 with the Appeals Committee and was wondering who was going to fill Sal Perez's position.

V. Adjournment
Urquijo moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:00. Senate Pro Tempor Preston seconded the motion. Motion carried 8-0.
