WNMU Spirit
Squad

The WNMU Spirit Squad is an active club and organization of Western New
Mexico University. The co-ed team is busy throughout the academic year,
cheering for football and basketball seasons, and participating in other
campus events, such as Great Race. The mission of the WNMU Spirit Squad
includes promoting school spirit, Mustang tradition, and good sportsmanship.
The squad members are students first, and must maintain academic eligibility
to participate. Tryouts for the squad are held in May for the following
year. More information regarding the squad, tryouts, or our next performance
can be obtained by contacting the coach, Laure Romero, in the Admissions
Office at WNMU (1-800-872-9668). |
