Mustang WaterholeThe "Waterhole" concept is taken from the metaphor of desert springs and rain puddles, at which wildlife congregates for sustenance. A brief meeting with others, and then a return to individual paths. We are all very busy with dozens of projects and tasks. It is often hard to meet for professional sharing and collective thought. So, the Mustang Waterhole will move around (as desert water does, with the seasons and the environment) and briefly offer refreshment to both body and mind of those who congregate. We may meet in a building, classroom, parking lot, lobby, or even a grassy spot. In the spirit of the "flash mob" phenomenon, expect surprises! We will congregate, collaborate, watch and listen, and share perspectives for a half hour or so and then resume our busy day. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome at the monthly Waterhole! Watch for e-mails and notices about the place and time.
