Student Employment
Handbook
Student Employment — also called "Work-Study" — is a type
of financial aid that allows you to earn part of your college expenses
by working at an approved
student employment
job on campus. In order to be eligible for Student Employment, a student
must be enrolled fulltime and have documented need according to their
Estimated Family Contribution (EFC). The EFC is calculated by the federal
processor based on the information submitted on the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Student Employment is offered as a part of a student's total financial
aid package. It is intended to assist the student in meeting the cost
of education at Western New Mexico University.
