General Obligation Bonds B and C
Improving Higher Education in New Mexico

In the Nov. 6 General Election, Bond C is worth more than $119 million for higher education in New Mexico and Bond B is worth 9.7 million for the state's public academic libraries.

Combined, Bonds B and C would provide approximately $128.7 million for New Mexico as follows:

  • Bond C provides $4 million to WNMU for upgrades to aging buildings and improvements in infrastructure.
  • Bond B will provide over $55,000 and enable WNMU's Miller Library to support student and faculty development and update current library materials. This will also assist in meeting accreditation. Money spent on the projects will create jobs and recycle several times in area communities.
