Deborah Cosper-Hughs
 Academic Advisor/Counselor

Helping students to learn,  grow and develop has been the focus of Deb's career at WNMU since 1986, although she has been devoted to the educational process all her life. She believes that education is a life long process, and feels fortunate to have been able to assist many people on their educational journey.

Her Specific job duties at WNMU have included personal counseling, academic advising, and teaching. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in art education from Arizona State University, and a masters degree in counseling from Western New Mexico University.

She currently works as an Advisor/Counselor in the Academic Support Center. Giving friendly, supportive and encouraging counsel to students has been the focus of her career at WNMU.
