Paquime
is the only archeological site of its kind in northern Mexico. Among its unique
architectural features are the almost 7 story high rammed-earth walls, the T-shaped
doors, an inter-city potable water system with connections to a nearby spring
through stone-lined canals, the ceremonial mounds, and ball courts. Paquime

Pottery spread across the table at the home of
Juan Quezada, internationally-known potter. His home is located
in beautiful, remote Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. The long
drive through the Mexican countryside has many historical and
scenic stops. The trip to Mata Ortiz will leave a lasting
impression on visitors. Pottery is available for sale.
