Each search committee is allocated $1,000 with which to reimburse travel/interview expenses to candidates. More funds may be allocated for upper management positions with approval by the President.

Reimbursable expenses include the following:

Travel arrangements are to be made by Human Resources except when candidates wish to make their own arrangements and can demonstrate a rate lower than the Human Resources rate.

Candidates who are offered a position and decline the offer are not eligible to be reimbursed. The candidate will be notified of this policy before the interview is scheduled.

Candidates who are interviewed but are not offered a position will be reimbursed.

Candidates who are offered the position and accept will be reimbursed.
