PROGRAM TRAINING

TRAINING OBJECTIVE

The objective of training employees at the SHS is:

• familiarize employees with the SHS Emergency Preparedness Program
• train employees how to identify a disaster
• train employees on the appropriate action for a specific disaster

TRAINING

Training for the Emergency Preparedness Program shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• annual review of the SHS Emergency Preparedness Program as printed in the Policy and Procedures Manual
• semi-annual verbal testing of employees on types of disasters and appropriate action to be taken
• semi-annual practice of mock disaster drills, which then will be evaluated by the Coordinator of the SICQI Committee, and reviewed by the Director
