Be a Resident Assistant or a Hall Director! Resident Assistants and Resident Hall Directors receive work experience and professional development opportunities, as well as free housing. Resident Assistants are given free board, while Resident Hall Directors are provided with housing that includes a kitchen and a stipend for purchasing groceries. Resident Assistants and Hall Directors must be on duty when scheduled, and perform such duties as completing and filing work orders, conducting check-ins, and assisting students with housing-related issues. All applicants must be enrolled at least 12 credit hours and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Training begins in August of every year. Centennial Hall (Co-ed single housing): 1 Hall Director, 4 Resident Assistants Eckles Hall (Men’s residence hall): 1 Hall Director, 4 Resident Assistants Ritch Hall (Women’s residence hall): 1 Hall Director, 3 Resident Assistants Muir Heights & Regents’ Row (Family housing): 1 Hall Director (shared), 2 Resident Assistants (1 RA in each facility) Reservations for all WNMU housing should be made as far in advance of the requested occupancy period as possible due to the limited number of spaces available. Assignments are completed by date applications and deposits are received. Reservations not claimed by the first day of classes will be cancelled and the security deposit will be forfeited. If previous arrangements for late arrival have been made, reservations will be held until the date specified |
