Female Health
The WNMU Student Health Services provides free (to those who qualify) routine annual gynecological examinations which include PAP smears, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, clinical breast exams, birth control education and options, emergency contraception, treatment of gynecological disorders and STIs, pregnancy testing, and sexual and reproductive education. Gynecological exams are by appointment only. STI testing may be done on a walk-in basis. Students may be eligible for free services through the Title X Family Planning Program, which is funded through the State of New Mexico and the US Federal Government.
