WNMU Museum and the Mimbres Region Arts Council have two Arts & Culture Tours set for the 2006-2007 season.
The WNMU Museum/MRAC Art & Culture Tour to Oaxaca is scheduled for November 13 through 19, 2006. The tour cost will be $1875 per person with a $200 single person supplement. Tour cost includes roundtrip economy plane fare from El Paso International Airport (TX) to Oaxaca, Mexico, hotels in Mexico, breakfast everyday in Mexico, and all scheduled tour guides, entrance fees, and transportation. Tour participants are responsible for transportation to and from El Paso (TX) International Airport, non-tour related transportation in Mexico, all tips (meals, tour guides, baggage handling), and meals other than breakfast in Mexico. The WNMU Museum/MRAC Arts & Culture Tour to Oaxaca tour leaders will be MRAC Executive Director Faye McCalmont and local art gallery owner and Oaxaca expert David Furnas.
The WNMU Museum/Art & Culture Tour to Northern Chihuahua, including Mata Ortiz, is scheduled for March 22-25, 2007. Tour cost TBA.
