Synonyms:
Coleosanthus venosus Wooton & Standley

Brickellia venosa has tomentose stems and leaves. The leaves are linear and about 5mm wide. They are obtuse at the apex. The purple-tinged pale yellow flowers are on erect peduncles. This species prefers lower elevation rocky canyons.
