Cephalozia bicuspidata is a small liverwort with small 0.6-1mm wide succubus leaves (there are no underleaves) that are 10-16 cells wide and bilobed. Each lobe is acute and 6-9 cells wide at the base. Interestingly, the cells contain no oil bodies. The stems have a hyalodermis, that is, the outer stem cells are thin-walled and larger than the rest of the stem cells.

Many thanks to John Brinda for identifying this liverwort for us.
