Potentilla fruticosa Linnaeus

Dasiphora fruticosa is shrubby and 1-3 feet tall. The bark is shreddy. The leaves are pubescent, compound and nearly palmately so. The leaflets are linear and are entire. The flowers are bright yellow and have bracts behind the calyx. Dasiphora fruticosa is found in mountain meadows at upper elevation. It is also grown in yards as an ornamental.
