Flavopunctelia soredica (Nyl.) Hale
Powder-edged Speckled Greenshield
Flavopunctelia soredica is yellow-green to olive-green when wet and grows on conifers at middle to upper elevations. The soralia are mostly marginal at the edges of the lobes. The undersurface is brown to black. The medulla shows a fleeting color change to red in sodium hypochorite.
