Frullania brittoniae Evans

Family: Jubulaceae

Status: Native

Synonyms:
None

Frullania brittoniae, like F. eboracensis, is found growing mostly on tree trunks. F. brittoniae has galleate lobules, 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the dorsal lobes and about the same size as the underleaves. The underleaves are bilobed with lateral teeth. The cell walls are wavy. There are 4-7 oil bodies per cell. Frullania brittoniae is found at moderate to high elevation in forested areas.
