Fuscocephaloziopsis lunulifolia (Dumort.) Váňa & L. Söderstr.

Status: Native

Synonyms:
Jungermannia lunulifolia Dumort.

Fuscocephaloziopsis lunulifolia is a very small liverwort occurring in small patches with sparingly branched stems. The stem has a hyalodermis. The leaves are succubus and circular in outline. They are bilobed and look a bit like a thumb and index finger making the "OK" sign. There are no underleaves or oil bodies. Angled minute gemmae are produced at the shoot tips. F. lunulifolia can be found on soil, rocks or logs.
