Heterosperma tagetinum Gray
Heterosperma pinnatum is a slender annual with highly dissected leaves with linear segments.
There are usually three small oval yellow rays on the rather inconspicous inflorescence, and a small yellow central disc. There are two series of phyllaries. The outer series is composed of three linear green phyllaries with pubescent margins. The inner series appears quite different, and is composed of striped oval phyllaries. Heterosperma pinnatum is found along disturbed roadsides at middle elevation in the Gila.
