Hieracium fendleri Schultz-Bipontinus var. mogollonense Gray

Hieracium brevipilus is an upper elevation herb that strongly resembles H. crepidiospermum. It likewise has mostly basal leaves and a yellowish inflorescence. Hieracium brevipilus differs in having tan hairs on the involucre along with stipitate glands.
