Leuciva dealbata is a lower to middle elevation herb. The pinnatifid leaves are white wooly with a rather dense panicle of flowerheads above. Unlike the genus Ambrosia in which members have pistillate flowers in the leaf axils below, Leuciva has pistillate and staminate flowers within the same flowerhead.
