Cheilanthes lindheimeri (J. Smith) Hooker

Myriopteris lindheimeri is tomentose adaxially, resembling Myriopteris rufa in that regard. However, Myriopteris lindheimeri has ciliate costal scales, while Myriopteris rufa does not. The ultimate segments of Myriopteris lindheimeri are usually covered beneath with scales and cilia forming a tangled mass. The ultimate segments of Myriopteris rufa are usually covered underneath only with tangled cilia.
