Plagiochilaceae

The Plagiochilaceae have succubus leaves. In many species the leaves demonstrate a dorsal decurrency. The leaves are toothed and underleaves are small or absent. There are over 1,000 species in this genus throughout the world but only one species has been described thus far in New Mexico.
