Potentilla paradoxa Nuttall

Potentilla supina subsp. paradoxa is an annual or biennial cinquefoil that can be either ascending or spreading. The style is terminal and the petals are yellow. It is herbaceous with leafy bracted cymes. The leaves are pinnately compound with 7-11 leaflets on the lowermost leaves. The leaflets are crenate to serrate. There are 15-20 stamens on the flowers.
