Synonyms:
Solidago canadensis sensu western authors

Solidago lepida is a tall goldenrod with a hairy stem. The leaves are sparsely ciliate along the edge, but the leaves are not covered in hair. The leaves are definitely three-nerved. Solidago lepida is found in the shade at lower to middle elevation.
