Wulfenia plantaginea (E.James) Greene

Veronica plantaginea is a showy 18 inch tall plant with tall, narrow spikes of pale pinkish flowers. Each flower has a green bract that is very curly white hairy but only on the margins. The leaves are also pubescent. Veronica plantaginea is found in mountain meadows in ponderosa forest at middle upper elevation.
