College of Professional Studies-Goals
Goal One: Beginning FY 15-16, recruit and increase the number of students in the College of Professional Studies by 2% each year. KPI: FY 14-15 as baseline, number of students enrolled in programs within the College of Professional Studies; increase by 2% each year.
Strategies: Recruitment Activities: · Attend WNMU orientations and other events related to recruitment · Visit with Community Colleges that feed into Professional Studies (CPS) Programs Develop a CPS web page that links to all Professional Studies programs. · Update all CPS department web pages to new format and update twice each year. Invite admissions and First Year Experience to visit with each CPS department for information on programs. Goal Two: By May 2017 increase the number of cross-disciplinary partnerships between programs as measured by the number of students enrolled in courses that reflect these partnerships. KPI: FY 14-15 as baseline, increase the number of cross-disciplinary partnerships between programs by at least one new partnerships each year.
Strategies Determine baseline for existing internal and external partnerships Visit with Community Colleges for potential MOUs Create new internal partnerships between colleges/department/programs Work with Office for International Studies to determine potential partnerships outside of the United States Investigate partnerships with local and state organizations Goal Three: Increase the satisfaction of the College of Professional Studies graduates and former students as measured by a survey created in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research. KPI: FY 15-16 Fall Survey as baseline, increase satisfaction of College of Professional Studies graduates and former students by 2% each year.
Strategies During April meeting, review Paul’s survey to determine fit Determine a survey to use and explore ways to increase return rates Establish baseline from satisfaction survey Meet with stakeholder groups to determine graduate needs.
